Hats Off To ZebDecember 2, 2007by Tony Cipponeri, Hi All, We had a gathering yesterday at The Goat Hill Tavern, in Costa Mesa Ca. The meeting was to honor Zeb Ziemer for his outstanding contributions to our club. Zeb, was supposed to be suprised by us, but yours truly, "let the cat out of the bag" to quote Zeb. Seems like I sent an email to all members telling them to meet at The Goat Hill Tavern, to honor Zeb, needless to say Zeb read it. Zeb than proceeded to have a Mexican resturant cater our little get together. Zeb was presented with a big picture of most of the winning cars from the national, one of David Maxwell's great trophies, A CD of the national, a bowling shirt, tee shirt, a hat, a golden state region License plate topper, and one of the lunch boxes presented by Roger Chrislip Folks, I am here to tell you that you will never meet a nicer person than Zeb. If you are ever in the area of Costa Mesa it would be well worth your time to stop in and see Zeb. Friday nights are the best time to meet Zeb, and if you think you are any good at shuffle board, you can try to beat him, don't bet any money on beating him though. Members and guests in attendance were Roger and Donna Chrislip, Nick and Char, DeSimone, Bob Davis, Bob and Margie Amos, Norm Carter, Richard, Jenny, Amanda and Alaina Butler, Tony and Karen Cipponeri, Ben and Vicky Grieco, Darrell Harris bought most of his family his Mom Marge, daughter Christina, son in-law David, Grandson Dylan and friend Christina, Zeb's sons Charles and Kevin, and of course our most esteemed host Zeb.
