August 21, 2010 (Saturday) • Balboa Ferry and Goat Hill Tavern • Coast Mesa • Southern California Events • We will meet at Zeb's Goat Hill Tavern, 1830 Newport Blvd (55), Costa Mesa at 11:00 a.m. Depending on how many show and who wants to take their cars on the ferry, we will proceed to 410 S. Bay Front in Newport Beach and ride the 1930's ferry across the bay to Balboa Island. The ferry only holds 2 cars at a time and is a short 10 minute pleasurable ride. Fee is 1.00 per car and 1.00 per person. Be sure to bring your camras. After our ride we will return to the Goat Hill Tavern where our host, Zeb, will graciously treat us to a mexican lunch. We will have a short meeting and enjoy the mulitude of beers the tavern has on tap, but be sure to have a designated driver. Any questions, call Margie Amos at 951-719-6816.

We will leave the Saratoga High School parking lot (20300 Herriman Avenue, Saratoga) at 10 AM. August 14, 2010 (Saturday) • 3rd K-Car Club Roadtrip • Tarzana, Ca. • National Events • This is a K-Car Club event. It is a 90 mile driving run to a number of locations along the way to the Historic Fort McArthur Military Museum. Starting point is at 10:00 am.

August 15, 2010 (Sunday) • Western Railroad Museum Tour • Rio Vista • Bay Area Events • Your invited to join in a CCPC tour. Here is opportunity to ride historic streetcars and interurban electric trains. Street cars loop the shaded grounds while interurban electric trains run 10 miles of the old Sacramento Northern Railroad main line tracks. It's like experiencing California as it was 100 years ago. These historic streetcars and interurban electric trains are from all over California and the western US. We will motor on back roads and have brunch on our way to a fun filled day on the rails. September 12, 2010 (Sunday) • Antique Cars in HIstory Park • San Jose • Bay Area Events • Antique Autos in History Park will take place on Sunday, September 12, 2010. The 10th annual event takes place at History Park, 1650 Senter Road in San Jose. All vehicles must be what existed or would have existed in 1945 or earlier. This event is free to everyone.

This year, we are planning a display of Steamers with a talk and demonstration of a Stanley Steamer.
